Overall Value Ease of Application Scratch Resistance I purchased Expert shields for my Pentax K20D and my Fuji X100.(Posted on 03/12/2011)
I mounted the Pentax on a sturdy tripod, cleaned the LCD screens as instructed and applied the shields faultlessly to the main screen and the top plate screen.
The shields are completly clear and invisible.
However when I repeated the operation with my Fuji X100 I managed to get a microscopic hair or fibre trapped beneath the shield right in the centre of the screen.
It was visible as a round "bubble".
I then made the mistake of lifting the shield to remove the hair and only succeeded in trapping many more.
I have had to remove the shield but I will order another one and this time I will not wear a wooly jumper while I am applying it!

Scratch Resistance Overall Value Ease of Application This is my second Expert Shield. The first one saved the expensive screen of my Fuji X100 from disaster and received a deep scratch in the process. I decided to replace it for purely cosmetic reasons. This is a wonderful product - easy to fit, and does not detract from the clarity of the screen. I would not hesitate to recommend it to everyone looking for a screen protector. I have only one bubble but it's caused by the fact that I managed to scratch my display already, the rest of the area is bubble free. I would definitely recommend this protector to every X100 user, the sooner you apply it the better. Scratch Resistance Overall Value Ease of Application Put the sheild on my X100 before a motorbike trip around Europe - I don't tend to use cases as they slow me down, and this product certainly has done a good job of keeping the back of the camera looking good! Ease of Application Scratch Resistance Overall Value I bought this shield and fitted it to my newly acquired Fuji X100. It fits like a glove and has so far proved to be excellent protection for what is a vulnerable part of the camera.
