Ease of Application Scratch Resistance Overall Value I've just bought one of the new Nikon D5100 DSLR cameras with the movable screen. I found that this screen fairly quickly became dusty and greasy (from being in contact with my cheek, etc.) and looked for a screen protector.(Posted on 11/05/2011)
The screen for the D7000 turned out to have a slightly rounded top, but ExpertShield were very helpful and suggested I tried guilloting the curve off. This worked very well without damaging the remainder of the screen at all. By following the instructions (very clear and concise) I applied the protector to the screen. The screen still looks bright and clear with no interference with the images displayed.
Also, the screen still closes solidly with no problem - something about which I had been concerned.
In conclusion, I can highly recommend this product as an excellent method of protecting your camera screen from dust, scratches and grease.
I would also recommend the Nikon D5100!
